During his thirty-year career in the Cobb County School District, he served as a teacher, administrator, principal of Dickerson Middle School and Kennesaw Mountain High School, Assistant Superintendent, and Chief of Staff. He attended the Harvard University Summer Leadership Academy in 2008, was a member of the Leadership Cobb class of 2010, and was recognized as Principal of the Year by the Tom Mathis PTSA Council in 2013. He presented at many state, national, and international conferences throughout his career and has continued to serve in administrative roles as requested by the Cobb County School District since his retirement in 2023. He is a member of Due West Methodist Church and is thrilled to be joining the staff at City Academy of Atlanta during this exciting time of expansion.
